In scene one we learn that lady Macbeth is going crazy and sleep walking, it takes 15 minutes at a time to “wash her hands” and she basically admits that she knows about Macduff’s wife being Murdered and the king being killed. Then in scene two we learn that his men are being forced to follow him and if they get a chance they will betray him. The rest of it shows Macbeth getting paranoid and Optimistic because “how can trees move” and “all men are born from women” so he isn’t worried when he hears that Malcolm and Macduff has an army of 10,000 behind them, he wants to be ready even know they aren’t close to Duncinine castle. Then we find out that Malcolm tells his men to Grab a branch and hide behind it to confuse their foe of their mass numbers and instead it looks like they only have a few men.
